Varanasi: In the first slot of the placement drive of the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, four students got jobs for international positions with the highest offer of Rs. 1.53 crore (214600 USD).
The placement drive of IIT (BHU) began on Saturday midnight. About 250 are taking part in the drive. According to the professor in-charge of the training and placement office of IIT (BHU), a total of 1426 students have registered themselves for the job placement interview.
In the first slot, 33 companies gave 188 job offers. Besides the international job, offers were also given to students with the package ranging from Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 58.21 lakh. The companies in the first slot included Goldman Sachs, Nutanix, Microsoft, Uber, Codenation, APT Portfolio, Google, Sprinklr (sde-1), Qualcomm, Cisco, Thoughtspot, Intel (soft+core), Cohesity, Appdynamics, Oracle, Mindtickle, Confluent, TIMS Solutions, Applied Material, Jaguar (GMET), Jaguar(GEET) Texas Instruments, KLA Tencor, Flipkart (APM), Zilingo BA, Mastercard (AI and Analytics), Phonepe BA, American Express BA, Bounce BDA, Ab Inbev, Vmock PA, Bajaj, Mckinsey.
In the second slot on Sunday 21 companies came with offers ranging from Rs. 11.1 lakh to Rs. 38 lakh. The companies included SAP Labs, DirectI, Phonepe (SDE), vmock (Topcoder), SRIB(Res.),Harness.AI, Western Digital, Zilingo SDE, EXL, Enphase Energy,Adobe, Bounce (SDE), Clumio, JP Morgan,Optum BDA, Flipkart SDE, Unacademy APM,Citi Bangalore, IBM, LendingKart Analyst,Worksapp.
Besides, 41 companies including Nutanix, Nvidia, Microsoft, Sansung(B), Samsung(R&D), J P Morgan, Sapient, Fidelity, Bajaj, Optum, Morgan Stanley, Mathworks, Hewlett Packard, DE Shaw, Get Active, MyKarma, VISA, CISCO, Hindustan Unilever, Citicorp, Deutshe Bank, Qualcomm, Reliance, Eaton, Policy Bazar, Bechtel India, Mentor Graphics, Aditya Birla, Amazon, Tata Steel, Goldman Sachs, Yokogawa Electric, Alphanso, Samsung (N), WIPRO, Grofers India, Samsung(D),ZS Associates, OYO, Adobe, American Express also gave 172 pre-placement offers to the students. e
