Yashpal Singh takes over additional charge of GM at DLW
Varanasi: Yashpal Singh, the general manager of the Central Organisation for Railway Electrification, Prayagraj took over the additional charge of the general manager of the Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) on Sunday.
Singh is a 1982 batch officer of the Signal and Telecommunications Engineering Service of the Indian Railways. He did graduation in electronic and communication engineering from IIT Roorkee.
Singh has a vast experience of work and served the Indian Railway with important positions like chief safety officer, North Western Railway, Jaipur, chief signal engineer, North Western Railway, Jaipur, chief signal and telecommunication engineer (construction), Eastern Railway, Kolkata, chief signal and telecommunication engineer (project), Eastern Railway, Kolkata, and chief signal and telecommunication engineer, East Central Railway, Hajipur.
Singh has received training of bullet train in Germany, train safety system in Italy, and high management training in the US.
