CM Yogi takes aerial view of Kanwar Yatra in Western UP

Kanwariyas showered with flower petals in Meerut and Baghpat

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday did an aerial survey of the Kanwar Yatra from his helicopter in western Uttar Pradesh. The helicopter took off from Hindon airbase and the Chief Minister took stock of the journey of Kaanwariyas in Ghaziabad, Meerut, Baghpat and Muzaffarnagar.

The District Administration in Meerut and Baghpat welcomed ‘Kanwariyas’, showering them with flower petals from helicopters.

Yogi Adityanath’s helicopter passed over the Aughadnath temple in Meerut, Pura Mahadev in Baghpat, Shiv Chowk in Muzaffarnagar and Dudheshwarnath temple in Ghaziabad. The move of district administration was hailed by Lord Shiva devotees.

As the helicopter of the Chief Minister reached closer to the Kanwariyas, they started chanting ‘Yogi Zindabad’. Yogi Adityanath himself greeted the Kanwariyas on the highway by waving his hands.

The flowery welcome for Kanwariyas came on the directions of UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Earlier, ahead of the Kanwar Yatra, CM had held a state level meeting to facilitate easy & comfortable journey for Kanwariyas.
