Free “Ecure” Ambulance service launched

 

Varanasi: Moved by the plight of the poor covid patients and exorbitant prices charged by some of the private Ambulance players, Dr Subodh Kumar Singh, a Plastic Surgeon of Varanasi, decided to start an ambulance service for them.

“This is the time when everybody should come forward to help the suffering humanity- this is not the time to make profits,” he said.

“This small gesture is aimed to inspire others to come forward for the cause of covid patients, besides helping some patients directly. I encourage people to come forward and sponsor a trip,” he said. A typical trip within the city of Varanasi should cost Rs. 501 and anyone can sponsor one or more trips. Sponsored trips would be absolutely free for the patients, he added.

He said that he formed a telemedicine company called Ecure Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. that is helping covid patients countrywide and providing them consultations @ Rs. 1.. These consultations can be obtained by using android ”Ecure’ app or by visiting the  ecure.com website. Today Ecure   launched its first air-conditioned ambulance for Covid patients. This service would be free for covid patients for now ,later if the resources could not be generated ,it will be available for  Rs.501 for 20 km and Rs. 1100 for up to 70km.

He also released two numbers for ambulance assistance – 6390 20 20. 44 and 6390 20 20 55 on which patients can call to book the ambulance.

Ecure has already received sponsorship for 40 patient trips by a beneficiary of Ecure Covid Care @ Rs 1. Covid patients can chose to pay the subsidised charges or opt for a sponsored free trip.

Many members of Ecure team including  Dr K C Gupta, Mrs. Pushpa Singh, Mr. Rajesh Dixit, Mr. Puneet Kumar Singh, , Dr Ishan Singh, Dr. Nimisha Singh and Dr. Ayush Kumar Singh  were present on the occasion of the launch of Ecure Covid Ambulance care.  “”We would do more and as much as is possible for covid patients, the team reiterated. We would save our people, they said.
