Guidelines for Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas

Lucknow: The Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari on Saturday issued guidelines for organizing ‘Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas (SSD)’ keeping in view the COVID-19 pandemic. SSD will be organized on the first and third Tuesday of every month to address the problems of the people.

He suggested that the ‘Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas’ must be organized where there is adequate space for the people to follow social distancing. He said that during SSD event, a maximum of 15 – 20 complainants should be resolved. Complainants can be called through a token system so as to prevent unnecessary gathering. Social distancing should be strictly complied. At the time of hearing, not more than 05 complainants should be allowed to gather near the table.

He said that proper sanitization should be done of the venue before SSD is organized. All the complainants present in SSD, must use masks and sanitizers. The appellants should be made aware of the orders issued by the government to stop the COVID-19 epidemic and they should also be told that there is a provision for punishment for not using masks.

COVID-19 helpdesk should be set up at the venue to provide information about prevention of the disease. Thermal scanning of each applicant should be done. In case of any symptoms of infection of COVID-19 in any officer and employee and applicant, necessary medical action should be ensured. Chief Medical Officer of the district concerned or the District Hospital should be informed about the infection.

The Chief Secretary also said that all the officers and employees should download Arogya Setu App and all the complainants at SSD should be asked to download this app. All officers and employees involved in organizing SSD will ensure COVID-19 related compliance of protocols and guidelines issued by Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Availability of sanitizer should be ensured at the venue. Divisional Commissioner and District Magistrate should monitor redressal of the complaints received. Information related to disposal of complaints should be uploaded regularly on the e-governance portal.

The guidelines have been sent to all the Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, Divisional Commissioners, Commissioner and secretary board of revenue, Director General of Police, all the Heads of Departments, and all the District Magistrates with an expectation that they will ensure smooth organization of SSD during the first and third Tuesdays of every month.
