Varanasi: The district magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma on Friday inspected the Sampurnanad Sanskrit University ground, where chief minister Yogi Adityanath, Union minister Smriti Irani and others will address a rally in support of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on Saturday.
The rally has been organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party to create awareness about the new citizenship law. The local BJP unit was busy in giving the final touch to the preparations. According to the president of BJP’s Kashi Kshetra Mahesh Chandra Srivastava, party workers from 12 districts would attend the rally.
