Varanasi: Nothing is more precious than a blanket for a poor in the icy cold wave. And nothing is bigger charity than the serving the poor.
It was really an act of sincere benevolence to distribute warm blankets among the destitute facing intense cold wave. Scores of poor villagers braving the icy wind at 4 degree Celsius assembled at the Panchayat building in Sarai Dangri village situated about 4km away from the Dafi toll plaza to get blankets on Saturday.
Beginning their social work with the commencement of New Year 2020, the volunteers of Bharat Vikas Parishad Kashi led by Vivek Shah, Santosh Agrawal, Rajat Pathak and others distributed blankets among the needy villagers.
