CM runs behind cows instead of education: Akhilesh Yadav

Varanasi: When the chief minister Yogi Adityanath was laying the foundation of ‘Gau-Abhyaranaya’ (cow sanctuary) in Mirzapur district on Wednesday, his predecessor and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav was training his gun on him over his ‘cow love’ in his parliamentary constituency Azamgarh.

The SP chief visited the Azamgarh district to condole the death of former MP Ramkrishna Yadav and console the bereaved family. Taking a dog on Yogi, Akhilesh said, “Aj ke mantri kah rahe hain ki shiksha se rasta hi bigad jata hai. Isiliye humare aise mukya mantri ban gaye hain jo shiksha ki jagah gayon ke pichhe bhhag rahe hain” (Today the minister says that education misguides. That’s why we got a chief minister who is behind the cows instead of education). He targeted Yogi referring to the statement of UP the jail minister JK Singh Jaiki, who had reportedly said that it is not necessary for a minister to be educated.

He further alleged that the BJP is trying to divert people’s attention from the important issues. The BJP government did nothing, but changed the names of Samajwadi government’s schemes, he said adding that his government had completed the highway in two years, but the Purvanchal expressway is half complete even after the lapse of three years.
