Maharajas Train in Varanasi

Indian Maharajas Train, a luxury train introduced by Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) REACHED Varanasi on Friday with tourists, who got an amazing opportunity to experience royalty on the wheels.

The train has Deluxe Cabin, Presidential Suite, Suite and Junior Suite. It also has a Lounge Bar and Restaurants. All cabins are designed so beautifully that if one sees through the window, one can enjoy beautiful landscapes. It has allover red carpet and interiors are designed keeping in mind the Indian Royal Heritage.

In six night and seven days Indian Panorama tour the train began from Dehli to cover Jaipur, Ranthambore, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra, Orchha, Khajuraho and Varanasi. After breakfast on board, the tourists stepped down at platform number 9 of Varanasi Junction. They were given a traditional welcome by the authorities of railway, tourism and travel association.

After taking lunch at Taj Ganges Hotel, they visited Sarnath ruins followed by a visit to the silk weaving centre. Later they proceeded for a Boat ride on the Ganga to witness the grand evening Aarti. They also enjoyed an exclusive vegetarian dinner with Kathak dance at Brij Rama Palace at the Ghat before leaving for Delhi.
