IIT (BHU) to hold Technex 2020

Varanasi: Technex-2020, the annual techno-management festival of IIT BHU, is going to be held from February 14 to 16. Technex is majorly seen as a fiesta that celebrates the advent and development of Science and Technology and brings in a footfall of nascent young minds from all over the country.

With the theme ‘Back to the Future’ Technex visions to create an impact on social trends and innovations. Every year it witnesses stupendous participation from premier institutes of the country, and also it unfailingly ropes contenders from various state and local colleges. In the preceding year, a staggering footfall of more than 25,000 participants was received from around 80 colleges of the country.

Dr. BN Rai, the Dean of Student Affairs at IIT BHU has helped manifold in fostering student activities in the institute. Ankur Verma, Head of the Science and Technology Council of IIT BHU recognizes this in its entirety and with the help of the Science and Technology Council, organizes the annual techno-management festival to celebrate the two fields, and ignite the spark of creativity, teamwork and passion within students.

Some of the notable features of the upcoming edition of Technex include events pertaining to the entire spectrum of science, technology and innovation, Think-Talks featuring eminent personalities such as Didier Queloz (Nobel Prize winner, 2019), Arijit Pasayat (former Supreme Court judge) and Katharine Gun (British former translator and whistleblower), and enlightening workshops to help improve and teach new skills to students. The pronite featuring the popular musician, Jubin Nautiyal, with more yet to be announced will surely be an engaging centre of attraction.
