CM gifts medical college to Chandauli district

Varanasi: Chief Minister Yogi Adtityanath on Sunday offered many gifts including a medical college, skill development training institute, ITI, and hostels for boys and girls to the naxal-affected Chandauli district.

CM visited Naugarh area of the district to launch of weekly `Arogya Mela’ at primary health centre of Amdah village. He announced that a medical college would be established in the district soon. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the weekly Arogya Mela has been launched at all 4200 primary health centres across the state.

It will be held on every Sunday at the centres to provide health services. It will give guarantee of the best possible treatment to every citizen of the state, he said adding apart from consultancy by doctors the patients will also be given medicines free of cost. 

Later, he took part in the silver jubilee celebration of Maharshi Valmiki Seva Sansthan in Devkhat village. Addressing the function, he said that skill development training institute and ITI would be opened in this remote area very soon. The government would also open hostels for the poor, scheduled tribe and destitute boys and girls of this region. He appreciated services of sansthan for uplifting the condition of boys and girl by imparting education to them.

CM also unveiled the statue of Maharshi Valmiki on this occasion. BJP MP from Sonbhadra Pakaudilal Kole, MLAs including Sadhna Singh, Sharda Prasad and Sushil Singh attended the programme.
