Netaji’s grandson visits Subhash Temple in Varanasi

Varanasi: It was one of the happiest moments for Somnath Bose, the grandson of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, to see a beautiful temple of his iconic grandfather in the Temple Town Varanasi.

“It is the first of its kind in the world,” said Bose after paying tributes to Netaji. He visited the newly built Subhash Temple at Subhash Bhavan in Lamahi village on the occasion of Republic Day on Sunday. He said that the temple would become a source of inspiration for the people to serve the nation.

The Subhash Temple, constructed by the Vishal Bharat Sansthan, was inaugurated on the occasion of the 123rd birth anniversary of Netaji on January 23. The 11-feet temple houses a life-size granite statue of Bose on a raised platform.
