No entry of rapists, daughter-haters in Kashi temples

Varanasi: When public rage over rape incidents is high in the country, a campaign has begun in the temple town Kashi to deny the entry of rapists and daughter-haters in the temples.

A social outfit –Aagaman, which has been engaged in creating awareness against female feticide, began this campaign on Wednesday to shut the doors of temple for such people.

The volunteers of Aagaman put posters with this message at Kalratri Temple in Kalika Gali. “Those who do not respect daughters or express unhappiness over girl childbirth are no entitled to enter the temple,” said the campaign leader Dr Santosh Ojha. Many social workers including Shri Narayan Tiwari, Hari Narayan Tiwari, Vishnukant Acharya, Harikrishna Premi, Rajneesh Seth, Rahul Gupta, Shiv Kumar, Manoj Seth, Dilip Srivastava, Manas Chaurasia and others actively took part in this campaign.
