Sant Kabir Multi-specialty Hospital will focus on ‘pulse’, not ‘purse’: Acharya Vivekdas

Varanasi: A 500-bedded ultramodern hospital – ‘Sant Kabir Multi-specialty Hospital’ is in the offing in this land of the great saint, which has already emerged as a big hub of healthcare.  

Mahanth Acharya Vivekdas of Kabirchaura Math Moolgadi claimed that it would be Asia’s on of the biggest multi-specialty hospitals for which an agreement has been inked with Abu Dhabi industrialist Dr BR Shetti of Indian origin.  He said that Shetti has involved in this venture on the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during their meeting in Abu Dhabi.

Acharya said that the foundation stone of the hospital would be laid on February 5, while the construction work would start on February 12 to mark the ‘Parinirvan Diwas’ (death anniversary) of Sant Kabir. The hospital would be built on a piece of five acres of land at the fourth halt of the Panchkroshi route in Shivpur area.  

Initially the hospital would have 500 beds which would be extended further. The hospital, which would have its own helipad for quick service, aims at providing all medical and healthcare to the patients.

Acharya said that the proposed hospital would lessen the burden of increasing patients on the existing hospitals. “Here focus would made on ‘pulse’ not ‘purse’ of the patients,” he added.
