Varanasi: The Varanasi regional centre of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA) is going to organize a special lecture on ‘Dharmashastra ke kshetra mein navin pandulipiyon ka anveshan evam unke sampadan ke prayatn’ (Efforts for searching and editing of new manuscripts in the area of Dharmashastra) under the Tattvabodha lecture series on February 3.
The event is being organized in collaboration with the National Mission for Manuscripts, New Delhi at the Parshwanath Vidyapeeth, Karaundi. The lecture will be delivered by Prof Brajkishor Swanyi, the former head of the department of Dharmashastra, Shri Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri, while Prof Vindhyeshwari Prasad Mishra, the dean of the Faculty Sanskrit Vidya Dharm Vigyan, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will preside over the function.
