‘thingQbator influx’ organised at IIT (BHU)

Varanasi: MCIIE, IIT (BHU) organized an event -‘thingQbator influx’ at Cisco thingQbator on Friday.

Mr. Dominic Scott, Vice President, Government Affairs & Strategy, Asia-Pacific at Cisco Systems and Mr. Harish Krishnan, Managing Director at Cisco Systems India and SAARC Co-Founder Public Affairs Forum of India visited IIT(BHU).

According to the coordinator Prof PK Mishra, they met Director Prof PK Jain to discuss upon extending collaboration between CISCO and IIT (BHU) for the benefit of the students of IIT (BHU) and the region in and around Varanasi.

Later, Mr. Dominic and Mr. Harish visited Cisco thingQbator, MCIIE, IIT(BHU) where six best nurtured incubates of the thingQbator exhibited their prototypes and briefly explained about the product before them.

Pratyush Chaudhury and his team briefly explained their project on voice enabled digital assistant for doctors (HealthNext), Kshitij Pandey demonstrated the purity checker device, Sumit Bhatt demonstrated his Doctor Around You app, Akash demonstrated his project of new key-lock system with dynamic passcode (KyuKey), Kailash demonstrated his project on medical advice based on digitized medical records and Sahil explained his RFID based product to be used in locks (Taplockers).

Officials from NASSCOM Foundation including Santosh Abraham (Vice President), Inbakumar Joshua (Operations Manager), Prashant Kumar (Skills Head) were present on the occasion.
