Patna just 40 minutes away from Varanasi

Lucknow 70 minutes and Agra 100 minutes away from Varanasi

 

Varanasi: Now Patna, the capital of Bihar, will be just 40 minutes away from Varanasi. And, two other important cities of Uttar Pradesh -the capital town Lucknow and the Taj town Agra will be 70 minutes and 100 minutes away from the temple town Varanasi.

The journey to these places by train or road takes several hours. Now, the travel time is going to be reduced drastically after the introduction of direct air connectivity of Varanasi’s Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport with these cities from March 29. The airport director Akash Deep Mathur said that three direct flights from LBS International airport to Lucknow, Agra and Patna would start on March 29.

The Alliance Air of Air India will operate flight between Varanasi and Lucknow, while the flights between Varanasi and Agra, and Varanasi and Patna will be operated by Indigo airline and Spicejet respectively.

The flight AI9747 will take off from Varanasi at 12:25 pm and land at Lucknow airport at 1:35 pm. The flight 6E7947 will take off from Varanasi 10:10 am and reach Agra at 11:50 am. Similarly the flight SG2753 will take off from Varanasi at 4:45 pm and reach Patna at 5:25 pm.
