Mirzapur boy secures 66th rank in UPSC Exam

Mirzapur: A local boy Saurabh Pandey secured the 66th rank in the Civil Services Examination. The final result of Civil Services Examination, 2019 held by the Union Public Service Commission was announced on Tuesday.

Resident of Vishalpuri Colony (Ramaipatti), Saurabh did his schooling in St Jhon’s School, DLW in Varanasi. His father Kamlakar Pandey is posted as the manager at Robertsganj branch (Sonbhadra) of Life Insurance Corporation of India.

Besides Saurabh, two other boys also cleared the UPSC examination. Pankaj Srivastava, son of a lawyer Shravan Kumar Srivastava of Rukharghat, secured 266th rank, while Rakesh Singh of Halia area got 657th position. His father Jay Narayan Singh is a farmer while mother Shail Singh is a Shikshamitra at the primary school in Madwa Dhanawal.
