Ayodhya Railway station under makeover

Ayodhya: As the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to lay the foundation stone of a grand Ram Mandir at Ramjanmabhoomi on August 5, the Ayodhya Railway station is also under a process of a makeover with modern and trendy amenities for the devotees.

According to the Railways, modelled on the Ram Mandir, the first phase of the new looking Ayodhya station is likely to complete by June 2021, while the complete makeover is expected to finish in 2023-24.

The works are on to give a new look to the Ayodhya railway station with all required modern facilities for the visiting devotees and tourists, as after the construction of Ram Mandir Ayodhya will a centre of great attraction not only for the Hindu devotees but also the people from across the world.

According to railway authorities, a fund of Rs. 104.77 crores has been allocated for this project. The station is being constructed by the RITES Enterprise of Railways.
