New Vaccination Centre at BHU to start functioning from Monday

 

Varanasi: A new COVID-19 Vaccination Centre will start functioning at the Faculty of Dental Science, Trauma Centre Complex of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) from Monday to facilitate vaccination of the employees, their family members and students of the University.

According to the notification issued on Sunday by the assistant registrar (general administration), this facility will be open from 1-4 PM daily except on Sunday/Holiday and can be availed by following Guidelines of COVID-19 Vaccination Centre.

The employees, their family members and students of age group 18-44 years will have to get themselves first registered online through the Government of India Portal/Aarogya Setu app for COVID-19 vaccination and reach to the Vaccination Centre with registration number and Identity card.

However, for those employees, their family members and students who are of age 45 years and above, the facility of on site registration is also available for which they will have to bring with them their identity card, Aadhar card and mobile number registered with Aadhar. Registration will not be done at the center in case of unavailability of either of the three documents mentioned above.

The total number of vaccinations shall be limited to 100 per day this will further be subject to the availability of vaccine vials provided by the district administration to the center. The vaccination after registration shall be done on first come first served basis.
