Day begins with 21 new COVID cases
Varanasi: The cases of coronavirus infection continue to rise sharply in the district. With 21 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday morning, the tally rose to 621 in the district.
According to the morning bulletin issued by the district administration, as many as 56 test reports were received from BHU lab till 11 am. Of the 21 persons were tested positive for COVID-19. No casualty was reported on Sunday.
Of 621 positive cases of COVID-19 340 patients have recovered from illness and were discharged from the hospitals. Presently, there are 259 active cases of coronavirus in the district. So far, 22 coronavirus infected persons lost their lives.
