Varanasi: The second day of SPANDAN 2020, the five-day inter-faculty youth fest of Banaras Hindu University (BHU), witnessed colourful processions and other activities on Monday. The event was formally inaugurated by the noted vocalist Padma Shri Soma Ghosh.
The inaugural function witnessed the performance of the students from Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar. Besides, a series of events including the colourful processions of the students of different faculty were held on the second day of the fest. The students presented theme-based tableaux on the occasion.
This annual fest was organised to provide platform to the students to show their skills and talents in 31 categories including dance, drama, music, painting, rangoli making and so forth.
