‘Imandari: Ek Jeevan Shaili’, a short film shot in Varanasi, gets Excellence Award  

 

Varanasi: NTPC’s short film ‘Imandari: Ek Jeevan Shaili’, which was shot in Varanasi, received PRCI Excellence Silver Award at the 14th PRCI   Global Communication Conclave organized at Bangalore University on March 6 and 7.

The NTPC assistant manager in Varanasi Mithilesh Kumar Srivastava received the award from the Bengaluru police commissioner Bhashkar Rao. Besides the human resource and corporate communication representatives of public and private enterprises on India, the representatives of Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh also attended the conclave, which was inaugurated by the Karnataka home minister Basavaraj Somappa Bommai.

On the instruction of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), the film was made by the North Region headquarters of NTPC at Varanasi.  The film was shot at Banaras Hindu University, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Arya Mahila PG College, Panini Kanya Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Arya Mahila Interv College, Jagaran Public School, Government Girls Inter College, Mukularanyam English School, Littele Flower House, Besant Theosophical School, Arora School, City Pride Montessori School.

 

The film was shot under the direction of Bharat Gupta of Creative Media Agency and the NTPC assistant manager Mithilesh Kumar Srivastava. Besides, the film also has the glimpses of Assi Ghat, Dashashwamedh Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, Rajghat, Sarnath, Ramnagar Fort, ancestral house of Lal Bahadur Shastri, and the colleges in Lucknow.
