Varanasi: As many as 11 Bangladesh nationals, who were caught staying at the guesthouse of a mosque on Tuesday, were booked under Epidemic Diseases Act and Foreigners Act.
According to Bhadohi SP, RB Singh. all the Bangladeshis were staying without informing the local police. They had come from Delhi after attending the Tablighi Jamaat.
According to their travel history, they had left Dhaka on February 24 on tourist visa and reached Delhi on February 27. After attending Tablighi Jamaat, they left Delhi on the same day.
After taking under custody the police put them in quarantine at Raja Balwant Singh hospital. However, during screening no COVID-19 symptom was found in them.
