Yogi presents report card of his government

Challenges changed into opportunities

 

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday presented the report card of his government’s achievements during the last three years claiming that his government has changed challenges into opportunities in the state.

Talking to reporters at Lok Bhawan, Yogi said that his government has made all-round development of the state during the period. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the source of guidance and inspiration for the success and taking the state forward, he said adding that the image of state has been changed due to better law and order and facilities for development. Each and every field like health, agriculture, employment, electricity, women empowerment and education including others has been strengthened, he said and added that 30 lakh houses have been made in urban and rural areas, and 2.61 crore toilets have been built.

 

He said that the state government has launched One District, One Product (ODOP) like schemes which generated lakhs of employment. Metro rail has been incorporated in four cities and the works in two cities Agra and Kanpur are underway. The government is developing large infrastructure in state. Purvanchal Expressway, Ganga Expressway and Bundelkhand Expressway will give a big boost to development.

CM said that record dues of sugar cane farmers were paid. The government has done a lot in the health sector as 30 new medical colleges are underway as compared to 12 medical colleges till 2016. The government has developed Yuva Hub for Employment for youths and for that 1,200 crore rupees have been allocated in budget. He said, three lakh youths during last three years were given government jobs. One lakh marriages were performed free of cost by government under Mukhyamantri Vivah Yojana. Several schemes have been initiated for the welfare of labours and their families, he added.

He further said that his government is credited for the successful organization of Kumbh-2019 in Prayagraj, Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas, Investor Summit and Defence Expo. The government has also done good job in health sector and successfully fought against deadly Japanese Encephalitis in the eastern part of state -Purvanchal by bringing mortality very low. CM said that all ministers, party workers and office bearers have been instructed to go in public with the government’s three year’s achievements.
