BHU to hold seminar ‘Recent advances in fungal diversity, plant-microbes interaction and disease management’

Varanasi: The department of Botany, Banaras Hindu University is going to organize a two-day national seminar on ‘Recent advances in fungal diversity, plant-microbes interaction and disease management’ on Friday and Saturday.

According to the convener Prof. R N Khrawar, more than 300 participants including eminent plant scientists and researchers and research scholars would take part in the seminar. The seminar will cover the discussions on different dimensions of fungal diversity, plant-microbes interaction and plant disease management and food security.

For promoting the youth, parallel award session for young scientists and women scientist will also run. The inaugural function would be attended by Prof. D J Bagyaraj from Bangalore and Prof. Ralf Oelmüller from Germany.
