50 more COVID-19-cases in Varanasi
Varanasi: With 50 more persons tested positive for COVID-19, the tally so far rose to 1,436 in the district on Tuesday.
Among the 339 test reports received from BHU lab from Monday evening to Tuesday morning, 50 reports were found positive for COVID-19. Three patients, whose reports were found negative, were discharged from the hospital.
So far 588 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection, and were discharged from the hospitals. Presently, there are 814 active cases of COVID-19 in the district, while 34 persons lost their lives.
