21 New COVID-19 cases found
Varanasi: As many as 21 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the district on Tuesday.
According to the chief medical officer Varanasi Dr VB Singh, said 162 test reports were received from BHU lab in which 21 were found positive for coronavirus. With it the total number of the COVID-19 positive cases in the district rose to s364. Of them 242 recovered from illness, while 13 patients had died in the past. Now active cases in the district are 109.
21 New COVID-19 cases found
Among new 21 cases, 18 were detected during contact tracing of already infected persons. Following detection of new cases four new hotspots have been created after which total number of hotspot areas in the district has reached to 184. Presently 72 hotspots are in active in the district.
