COVID-19 continues to spread
Varanasi: Coronavirus infection continued to spread on Tuesday with 139 persons infected in a single day in five districts including Ballia (69), Varanasi (48), Mau (15), Sonbhadra (11), Azamgarh (11) and Mirzapur (5).
According to medical bulletins, with 48 new cases of COVID-19 in Varanasi, the tally rose to 936. Among them 474 patients have recovered so far, while 28 patients died. Presently, there are 343 active cases of COVID-19 in Varanasi district.
COVID-19 continues to spread
In Ballia district, the tally rose to 487. Of them, two had died and 279 have recovered so far. Presently, there are 206 active cases of COVID-19 in Ballia. In Mau district, the total number of COVID-19 positive reached to 275. Presently, there are 150 active cases of coronavirus in Mau.
In Sonbhadra district, the COVID-19 tally rose to 114, while in Azamgarh district, the tally rose to 381. In Mirzapur district, the total number of COVID-19 cases became 261.
