A feast for the poor will be held on Lalu Yadav’s Birthday
Patna: As the country is facing the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no fanfare on the occasion of birthday celebration of former chief minister of Bihar and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday.
The Party has decided to celebrate the birthday in a simple way in the state. According to state RJD president Jagdanand Singh, the party has decided to arrange food for over 72,000 poor people on the occasion. The leader of opposition and Lalu’s son Tejaswi Yadav said that the party would celebrate the birthday as RJD Garib Samman Diwas.
No cake for Lalu
Singh said that instead of cake cutting a feast for the poor would be organized on the occasion. The feast would be held in all blocks of the state. Tejaswi Yadav would leave for Ranchi by road to meet his father on Thursday.
