Ballia: All three candidates have intensified their political acumen to wrest the post of branch president of UP Co-operative Development located at Belthararoad.
Campaigning process to score brownie points over rivals have intensified after former president serving for last 15 years Indrapratap Singh was allotted lion symbol along with his rivals BJP supported candidate Dayashankar Verma and Rajendra Pratap Singh getting car and almirah symbol respectively.
While, BJP is utilizing all its resources to build campaign in the favour of its supported candidate. The party is taking no chances and asked BJP workers to ensure victory of its candidate by turning the poll battle as the tussle for self-respect and honour. A meeting of party workers was held at Zila panchayat building in which BJP district president, Jai Prakash Sahu, Salempur MP, Ravindra Kushwaha, Mukteshwar Singh, Dr. Dayanand Verma, Ajay Yadav, Satish Gupta and others were present.

Meanwhile, former president has pulled up his socks and is leaving no stone unturned to attract voters. The BJP has fielded candidate in election for the first time. The election will be held on September 1 at Siyar block of Dawakara Hall. As many as, 1446 voters will exercise their franchise during poll but if rumours are to be believed nearly 800 voters are dead, which is herculean nut for candidates to crack.
