Ex-Gram Pradhan murdered in Ghazipur

Ghazipur: A former gram pradhan was killed by some miscreants at Chakfarid village in Bahariyabad police station area of Ghazipur district on Sunday. The miscreants fled from the scene after committing crime. The police are investigating the matter.

According to reports, the former gram pradhan Noor Mohammed (50) had gone for a morning walk. When he was returning home, some unknown miscreants attacked him with knives. He sustained multiple stabbing injuries on his body. Sensation prevailed in the locality after the murder.

The police reached the village after getting information, and the forensic team was also called. The spectacles and mobile phone of the deceased were found at some distance from the crime spot. The police said that the investigation is underway.
