Varanasi: The vedic girls of Panini Kanya Mahavidyalaya in Varanasi celebrated Diwali on Wednesday to express their joy over the bhoomipujan of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

They lit the earthen lamps on the campus in the evening and sang in praise of Shri Ram. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed bhoomipujan of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.
