Noted Urdu poet Rahat Indori passed away at an Indore hospital on Tuesday after suffering two heart attacks. He was 70. He had tested positive for coronavirus.
He was admitted to the hospital on Sunday after being tested positive for Covid-19. According to reports, he suffered two heart attacks on Tuesday and could not be saved. He had 60% pneumonia.
Indori had extensively performed in Mushaira and Kavi Sammelan. He had traveled widely internationally to recite poetry. He was also a former professor of Urdu.
