Customs team seizes Gold at LBS-International-Airport

Varanasi: The Customs team seized Gold weighing at 355.65 gms valued at Rs 1671631/- and one IPhone valued at Rs. 74210/-, total value Rs 1745841/- from a lady passenger coming from Sharjah in flight no.-IX 1184 at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport on Friday.

The Gold in form of foil was concealed in steel flask and DEO bottle. During personal search, small nickle coated 136 Pcs of Gold Challas were used between each pair of beads in green beads mala (Mala). To avoid detection she was also wearing gold Payal coated with grey metal.
