PCS-2019 mains examination schedule released

PRAYAGRAJ: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the schedule for PCS-2019 mains examination.
According to the secretary of UPPSC Jagdish, examination will be conducted between September 22 and September 26 in Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad. Examination will be held in two shifts including morning shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 noon and evening shift from 2 pm to 5 pm respectively.
The PCS -2019 prelims examination was held on December 15, 2019 at 1166 examination centres across 19 districts of the state. The result of the same was declared on February 17, 2020. About 6,320 candidates qualified for PCS mains examination.
As per the declared schedule on September 22 examination of General Hindi will be held in morning shift and Essay Writing in evening shift, while on September 23, examination of General Studies-l and General Studies-ll will be held. The examination of General Studies-lll and General Studies-lV will be held on September 24, and on September 26, examination of Optional Paper-1 and Optional Paper-2 will be held.
Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be held on April 20, but was cancelled due to the lockdown imposed as result of the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. As per the revised examination calendar released by UPPSC the PCS-2019, mains examination was scheduled to be held on August 22. But on July 31, UPPSC declared September 22, as the next examination date for PCS-2019 mains examination.
