“NIVESH MITRA” wins ‘Award of Excellence’
Lucknow: ‘Nivesh Mitra’, the single window portal of Uttar Pradesh for issuing clearances to industries and enterprises has been given the prestigious ‘Award of Excellence’ by the Computer Society of India (CSI). The award has been given under ‘Project category’ for excellent online interface provided to investors and industrialists for setting up and running their units and enterprises in the state.
The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave away the award to Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Office –SP Goyal, Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department and Chief Executive Officer of Invest UP, Neena Sharma and District Magistrate of Hardoi Avinash Kumar at a ceremony organized on 18th CSI Special Interest Group eGovernance Awards 2020 on Friday.
Underlining the importance of Nivesh Mitra as an important tool of Ease of Doing Business, Additional Chief Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development, Arvind Kumar informed that 3,27,502 applications have been filed on the single window portal till today since the launch of Nivesh Mitra in February 2018, while around 83% i.e. 2,77,335 clearances, including NoCs and licences have been issued so far with 95% disposal rate.
Nivesh Mitra was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the U.P. Investors’ Summit on February 21, 2018 with 69 services.
As a result of strengthening of Single Window Portal “Nivesh Mitra”, now it is possible to submit online applications from anywhere anytime through Common Application Form (CAF). End-to-end computerization has been done of 27 departments that provide over 200 services to businesses through Nivesh Mitra.
CEO, Invest UP, Neena Sharma informed that around 130 services had been integrated with Nivesh Mitra during the last two years and 50 more services were in pipeline to added to the single window system.
The Grievance Redressal system of Nivesh Mitra has received 25,084 grievances as on date, of which 99%, i.e. 24,836 have been successfully resolved. Moreover, User Feedback module of the portal has received 1,48,883 number of feedbacks from entrepreneurs so far, out of which 75% (24,836) users have rated the system as ‘satisfactory’.
‘Invest UP’, invest promotion and facilitation agency of State government is the nodal agency for single window portal and manages its operation and maintenance.
Comprehensive procedures for checklists, applying, departmental procedures for grant for all pre and post establishment No-objection certificates (NoCs), licenses, registrations and other mandatory approvals have been made available online on Nivesh Mitra portal. Besides mandatory licences, more sector-specific licencing services, such as- Movie shooting, Excise related, Agriculture sector, Medical health and Geology & mines licencing services are also being provided through Nivesh Mitra.
