The Body of Martyr arrives
Jaunpur: The mortal remains of the jawan of 53 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) Jilajit Yadav (25) arrived at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International airport, Babatpur in Varanasi on Thursday evening.
The army personnel with his body moved from the airport to his native village Bahadurpur in Sarkoni area of Jaunpur district.
The Bahadurpur village lost its brave son Jilajit, who sacrificed his life in fighting with the terrorists in Pulwama district of Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday late night.
The Body of Martyr arrives
A pall of gloom descended on the village with the arrival of the news of his martyrdom on Wednesday morning. Recruited in army, Jilajit was posted in Pulwama. He got hurt in the exchange of fire with the terrorists. A terrorist was also killed in the encounter.
Jilajit was married only three years ago. He also has a three-month-old son. His father Kanta Yadav had passed away two years ago. He was the only son of his father. He is survived by his wife and the son.
