Varanasi: The Government Ayurveda PG College, Chowkaghat organized ‘Shishyopanayan Samskar’ (induction) of newly admitted students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses on Thursday.
The function began with the puja of Dhanvantari, the God of medicine. The principal Prof Neelam Gupta welcomed the guests the vice chancellor of Sampurnanand University Prof Rajaram Shukla and the dean of Ayurveda Faculty, Banaras Hindu University Prof Yamini Bhushan Tripathi.
The function was also attended by Prof Kanchan Gupta, Prof Sanjay Pandey, Dr KK Dwivedi, Dr Manohar Ram, Dr Suman Yadav and Dr Awdhesh Kumar. The function was conducted by Dr Ashutosh Yadav.
