25 more COVID patients found

Varanasi: With 25 more persons tested positive for COVID-19, the tally rose to 652 on in the district Monday. One person died due to COVID-19 on Monday evening increasing the toll to 24,

According to the district magistrate Varanasi Kaushal Raj Sharma, as many as 16 patients, who recovered from illness, were discharged from the hospitals on Monday.

So far 364 patients have recovered from infection, while 24 patients died. Presently, there are 264 active cases of COVID-19 in the district. As many as 11 new areas of the district were declared hotspots increasing the number up to 311.
