18 New COVID-19 cases in Azamgarh

Azamgarh: As many as 18 more persons were found positive for COVID-19 in Azamgarh district on Tuesday increasing the tally 198.

The chief medical officer Dr. AK Mishra said that these infected persons belong to different areas of the district including Amagarvi Haraiya, Shahdih Haraiya, Kursauli Haraya, Kotila, Rani Ki Sarai, Badhariya anjarpur, Bangaon Martinganj, Kharka Tarwa Lalganj, Bangaon Tarwa, Navrasia Tarwa, Mudahar Gambhirpur, Sahnudih, Shyamakpur Pawai, Gorthani Atraulia, and Bhimakol.

18 New COVID-19 cases in Azamgarh

So far 198 COVID-19 positive cases were found in the district out of whom 158 persons recovered from illness and were discharged from the hospital. Presently, there are 34 active cases of COVID-19 in the district, while six patients had died in the past.
