After PM, Yogi appeals for a three-day Janta Curfew in UP
Varanasi: After the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s, a-day ‘Janta Curfew’ on March 22 across the nation, now the UP Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has come up with a similar appeal for a three-day lockdown in the state from Wednesday.
In a tweet on Tuesday afternoon, Yogi made an appeal to 23 crore population of the state for their cooperation in the three-day ‘Janta Curfew’ (lockdown) starting from Wednesday to fight against the COVID-19.
Earlier, in his address to the nation on March 19 the PM had made an appeal to the people to observe ‘Janta Curfew’ on March 22. His appeal evoked an overwhelming response across the nation and people remained indorrs whole day.
