Chief Minister Yogi greets the people on the festival of Baishakhi

 

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his warm wishes to people on the occasion of Baisakhi on Monday. In his greeting message, the CM said the festival of Baisakhi is a symbol of our glorious traditions and rich heritage. This festival celebrates our harvesting season and reminds us of the grand contributions of the farmers and agricultural traditions of our country.

He said that Baishakhi was the day when the 10th Sikh Guru Govind Singh Ji had founded the Khalsa Panth. This day is celebrated in different ways across the country, signifying the arrival of new year.

CM appealed to the people to celebrate festivals at home and support the lockdown for their own safety as well of the society. “It will help our resolve to fight the Corona virus and save every citizen from the infection,’’ he said. He wished that the festival of Baisakhi may bring joy and happiness to the lives of every Indian.
