Jailbreak in Jaunpur district
Jaunpur: Two undertrial prisoners escaped from the temporary jail in Panchahatiya area in Jaunpur district on Thursday night. The matter came to light on Friday morning during counting. The police have launched a manhunt in the district to nab them.
According to reports, the two undertrial prisoners Raju Chauhan of Badlapur area and Monu Kumar Gautam of Mungrabadshahpur area were lodged in this temporary jail. Both of them were found missing during counting on Friday.

The jail authorities reported the matter to the district administration and Line Bazar police station. Immediately the police launched a manhunt to nab them. The police, however, were yet to get any breakthrough. Jaunpur SP Ashok Kumar said that the search operation is conducted at all possible places to nab them.
