Man dies at isolation ward in Ballia

 

Varanasi: A migrant worker Rajnarayan (65), resident of Shahpur village in Ubhao area of Ballia district died at isolation ward on Wednesday. His report of COVID-19 sample is awaited.

According to reports, the worker had returned from Rajasthan on May 5. He was admitted to the isolation ward after diagnosed respiratory problem. His sample was sent to Gorakhpur lab for testing.

According to the nodal officer (epidemic) Dr Jiaul Huda, the body has been kept in mortuary. His postmortem would be conducted after the arrival of his test report. The man had also suffered from tuberculosis in the past.
