Three more COVID-19 positive cases found in Varanasi

Varanasi: Three more COVID-19 positive cases were detected in Pitarkunda locality the city on Wednesday. All the three are the family members of an elderly person, who was tested positive for COVID-19 recently.

The district magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma said that they were admitted to the isolation ward of DDU District hospital. One of them -a 45-year-old woman is the daughter-in-law of the elderly person, while two others include a 21-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy.

So far 18 persons were tested positive in the district out of whom eight recovered from illness, while one person died. There are six hotspots in the district.
