Two persons killed in Jaunpur

 Jaunpur: Two persons were killed in two separate incidents at different place in Jaunpur district. An elderly farmer was killed at Jamdaha village in Khetasarai police station area, while another person was beaten to death in Badlapur area.

According to reports, the farmer Munnar Bind (70) was sleeping in a hut near his field when the miscreants killed him with some sharp-edged weapon on Saturday night. The incident came to light on Sunday morning when his daughter went to the field.

SO Khetasarai Rajesh Yadav said that the farmer’s family lodged a named FIR in this connection. His family alleged that some of his relatives of the same village had quarreled with him over mango plucking. The matter is being investigated. The body was sent for postmortem.

In another incident one Rajesh Tiwari alias Natey of Ghanshyampur village in Badlapur police station area district was beaten to death by some miscreants on Friday night. His body was found along the road on Saturday. The matter was being investigated.
