Varanasi: ‘Small is Beautiful’, an initiative of the Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is going to be launch in Varanasi on March 14 for the development and promotion of small businesses/street vendors for their business sustainability.

According to the deputy director in-charge of MSME Development Institute, VK Verma, the union minister of State for MSME and Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Pratap Chandra Sarangi will launch the project at Kashi Vidyapith.

Initially, the project is being launched on a limited scale at Varanasi with 100 vending carts and 10 barber kit sets for the registered street vendors of Sigra and Sarnath areas.
