Combat COVID-19: State BJP Chief makes daily call to party men

Lucknow: Amid COVID-19 outbreak, when both central and state governments are careful to execute the 21-day lockdown, it is a big challenge before the government machinery to feed the stranded and poor poor and maintain the supply chain. In this challenging time of Corona pandemic BJP’s Uttar Pradesh unit is also working aggressively to control the spread of COVID-19.
“Following the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s instructions, we are vigorously trying to educate people about COVID-19 and the situation emerged due to this pandemic. The state president Swatantra Dev Singh and organizational secretary Suneel Bansal call daily to MLAs, districts presidents, party workers and booth level teams instructing them to provide food, medicine and other essentials things to the needy people,” said party’s senior spokesperson Harish Chandra Srivastava. Known for his organizational management skill, Singh has activated his party cadre through the phone call and through video conferencing, he added.
Srivastava said, that Singh has asked the party workers to make aware the people about the measures taken by CM Yogi Adityanath. The party workers have been asked to ensure that villagers who returned from Delhi or MP and Haryana are provided assistance of cash, food and other services. As per his instruction the party workers are vigilant to social gathering and trying to provide food to everyone, he said adding that Singh’s managerial skill encouraged party workers to fight Corona pandemic.
