Indians from London arriving Varanasi

First flight of Vande Bharat Mission to land Varanasi airport with stranded citizens on May 18

 

Varanasi: The first flight of Air India under Vande Bharat Mission from London to Varanasi will land at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport with stranded citizens on May 18.

The ADM (protocol) Atul Kumar went to the airport on Saturday to take stock of the arrangements for the visiting people from abroad. All the passengers will be put in institutional quarantine in identified hotels.

He held a meeting with the airport director, CISF commandant, terminal manager and other officials to take account of the arrangements. He said that four hotels have been selected for their accommodation at reduced rates. He also visited the hotels to see the arrangements.
